Dubai… a city of two worlds, where modernity meets tradition. While the modern side of Dubai seems like a mirage of the future, with its spectacular skyscrapers and futuristic technology, old Dubai captivates with its authenticity. Spice shops, busy bazaar streets and peaceful mosques exude the charm of a bygone era. It is a place where contrasts and diversity meet, creating a unique mixture that attracts, fascinates and also raises controversy. Dubai’s rich culinary scene reflects the city’s cultural diversity. While here, we skipped the international, trendy eateries and looked for more authentic places where locals eat. In particular our hearts were stolen by Arabic coffee, brewed with cardamom and served with tahini and dates to sweeten instead of sugar… an insanely delicious way to enjoy it.
