  • Australia Foodies Guide: 2 Weeks Road Trip from Sydney to Brisbane

The inspiration for our tour was one of my favorite movies, “Adore”, starring extraordinary actresses Naomi Watts and Robin Wright. I was as eager to visit the idyllic filming locations as Seal Rocks and Shelly Beach as I was to enjoy the delicious produce featured on MasterChef Australia. Australia exceeded expectations and stole our hearts. We fell in love with the laid-back Australian lifestyle, breathtaking beaches, endless sun and, of course, the amazing food scene. Think amazing brunches, charming bakeries, lots of fresh wild fish & seafood and an abundance of Asian restaurants. Our trip started in Sydney and ended in Brisbane, with lovely stops along the coast at Long Jetty, Blueys Beach, Coffs Harbour, Byron Bay and the Gold Coast. The time spent in each destination can be adjusted to suit your preferences and interests, but we recommend approximately 14 days for the entire route. Of course, you can choose a faster pace or a more leisurely approach, depending on your schedule and plans, but we recommend a minimum of 10 days.
