Auckland – 2 days

In Auckland, the food scene is a delightful mix of cultures. Focus on trying some local favorites like whitebait omelette, lamb, local clams, and oysters. For a thrill, take the Sky Walk around the top of the Sky Tower – it’s not for the faint-hearted but offers breathtaking views.

Next, head to Matamata, better known as Hobbiton. Even if you’re not a Lord of the Rings fan, the lush green hills and quaint hobbit holes are pure magic.
